When terrestrial TV is no longer available in the UK I’m not going to be able to select a specific channel to record from, am I? So why do current DVD recorders still come with multiple terrestrial TV channels?

I copied a disc and my Power DVD won’t play it, coming up with ‘disc with unsupported format in drive’ message. I read here on Yahoo Answers that i need to finalize the disc. How do i do that? I have purchased on ebay the High school Musical dvd board game from america, but now the seller has contacted me to tell me that unless my dvd player is multiregional it will not play the dvd.
