I have a few dozen movies on VHS, my video player is broken, I want to watch these movies again. Can I download them from Bittorrent without any legal repercussions? Is there some sort of program that could help, I’ve hooked my old video up to the media centre and recorded some footage that was captured on vhs about 8 years ago. The picture quality isn’t great and there are some very bad tracking problems (lines going down the screen) at some points. Is there some kind of software that might improve the way it looks? Thanks Incoming search terms:I have a VHS to DVD recorder but it won’t copy any commercial VHS films to DVD. I bought the machine specifically to move my collection to DVD and ditch the VHS tapes but no luck – is there any way to copy “copyrighted” VHS tapes (I know it may not be strictly legal but it’s only for personal consumption – I don’t want to have to buy all the films again on DVD just because VHS will soon be no more!). Help! I don’t have a tv by choice, and we just get tv prorammes that seem really good on dvd to watch on my laptop (it folds away so it doesn’t dominate the room or tempt us to turn it on for no reason). THe only thing is, I keep seeing good cheap videos in cahrity shops. I have an old vhs player-can I link it to my laptop? Now my VCR is the (archaic I know) Panasonic NV-L28 from 1988. This machine has the following connections: 1 x 21 pin scart input/output I want to connect to the cable box but avoid RF where possible. so tv can be recorded on the vhs player. At the moment the aerial goes into vhs so it only records analogue signals. I have recorded some episodes of a tv show on a standard vhs video tape and I want to be able to be able to watch them in Windows Media Player. How can I transfer them onto my pc in .WMV format ? |
